It also boasts more memory (16M vs 2M). The pin-outs are different, and the on-board LED is in a different location. The SWD interface has 4 (vs 3) connectors, adding a 4th "3V3" pin. The old Pico's had a reputation of eventually burning out the SWD interface and I am eager to test this new one. This board has the boot select button like the original Pico; there are not reset or user buttons.
