Customer did give a small refund for the inconvenience. The shaft is extremely soft. The threads are pulling free of the shaft, and with no left to right movement the gear is grinding off. It appeared to be hardened steel, but after install and very minimal use (less than 2 hours) it has proven to be inferior metal.

Shipping wasn't super fast but that's alright. Wouldn't have ordered if I had to have a filter at that moment. Would have just went to the parts house. But where I could wait it was about a quarter of the price as local parts houses.
