The filter shipped with this unit is white, made from fabric intended to filter particles that may damage your equipment. The white filter that came with this housing looks nothing like the one in the photos. Lastly, the drain valve with this unit is NOT air tight, no matter how much you close it. I had spare parts and needed a particle filter, so I didn't return it, but better affordable options exist for this.
