The installation instructions are a little week, but it is very simple to do. I did try to maintain at least 6’ from external antenna to booster inside. I installed this in a steel frame aluminum skin enclosed 4’ x 8’ trailer converted to living in. Had been difficult to get service when door was closed. Good buy
