I decided to go without it. I am using a reworked bracket that holds throttle and tv cable housing. I am getting full stroke with it with a little tension at idle by using the regular hole on edelbrock carb. For me installing this would mean I have to rework the entire bracket to the rear more. I think technically you need this if you have a bought bracket from like edelbrock or something on that order
