Each week found Hammer plowing his way through a seemingly impenetrable web of deceptions and double-crosses, with trademarks including a never-ending string of sardonic wisecracks and the most brutal violence ever seen on television at that time - so brutal that <I>Variety</I> termed the program "a mixture of blood, violence and sex." The series initially ran from 1957 through 1959, and included 78 episodes, all of which appear in this box set as they originally aired.

All I can say is this seller is the King of Packaging! Everything was tightly wrapped in bubble wrap that even the shipping company wouldn't have been able to damage.
