Based on the appearance of the outside of the box, the post office had damaged the box and the figure in shipping. Model steam engine is in very good condition, and included extras such as pulley ropes, spare gaskets, and dry fuel tablets. I have fired up the boiler twice, and it's fun to watch it work.
