This motherboard supports AMD multi-core processors with a special L3 cache and 32nm manufacturing processes. The ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 also supports an AMD CPU with a TDP of up to 140 watts. Built with an ASUS AMD 760G chipset at its core, this motherboard works well with most commercially available components. It has a memory capacity of up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM, with most supported CPU types capable of handling DDR3 1033 RAM. A dual-channel memory controller enhances performance by decreasing latency.
