Durch eine Vielzahl von Einstellungsmöglichkeiten lässt sie sich jeder Anspruch berücksichtigen. Neun Individualfunktionen mit 24 Einstellungen lassen die Kamera individuell anpassen. Das EF-S Bajonett bietet Anschluss für bis zu 60 Canon EF-Objektiven. Der eingebaute Blitz befindet sich höher als die Linse um somit Die Gefahr von roten Blitzaugen zu mindern.
