This silvered crosshair dial is a rare classic, with gold and black batons and hands, a sweeping seconds hand and a date window. The crystal is new and mint. The date aperture to 3 o'clock functions as it should, rolling over at midnight and via the crown's quick-change function (scrolling the hour hand back and forth between 9 and 12 o'clock). The original (engraved) gold crown correctly controls the hands when pulled out and also smoothly manually winds the watch. The automatic wind also works, with the movement appearing clean, original and all present, keeping great time (off by a few seconds a day). The gold plating of the case, lugs, original crown and original bezel (still present) are all in great condition. The steel screwback case is in great shape, with the iconic Hippocampus logo engraved on it. The 18mm brown leather strap with gilt buckle is brand new. The genuine red Omega box (pictured) is included and in mint condition with the outer box. Just oiled.”
