It is not a super heavy leather nor the finest available but it is very nice quality and I believe will last many years. The only thing I would change are the chicago screws at each end. Base is thicker with a small wire hanger. This would scratch the stock of your rifle and aren’t visually appealing if place outside. I will order some new brass chicago screws. Good deal.
