Seller was kind in providing partial refund. I was able to repair minor damage. Tank now features a fluid level window that wasn’t shown on auction page. It’s a very nice feature, but it leaked badly when first installed. I disassembled it and discovered it does have an O-ring, but the clamp, held down with 4 torx screws, didn’t apply enough pressure. I applied sealer and reinstalled. Even sealant didn’t work when the coolant is hot and under pressure. I had to replace it completely with the more expensive and higher quality Mishimoto tank. I should have done that to begin with. I have asked the seller for a full refund.
