A little bit of plastic surgery and the adapter is a perfect fit for a Harbor Freight Hercules 20 volt lithium battery. Also, the adapter is a perfect fit to my 12 year old Harbor Freight 18 volt Chicago Electric 66851 hammer drill - which still works perfectly after a lot of abuse and time. Kudos to whoever designed this gadget.

Chicago 18V Tool operates fine with the DeWalt 20V battery. If you have old Chicago Electric tools you don't use because the batteries were JUNK to begin with. This is the perfect solution. You could also buy Knock Off (Waitley 20V 6.0A Replacement Battery Compatible with Dewalt) DeWalt battery and charger for the Chicago Tool(s).
