The cosmetic imperfections are almost invisible, the unit is almost perfect! The fact that this unit comes with the stainless steel spigot is a huge plus! Compared to buying new, which should be like $300. Not a scratch on this thing very shiny. Looking forward to getting it put together. Can’t really speak to the quality, but has all the seals like it is an actual Berkey
