It was shipped inside of a perfectly sized stiff cardboard envelope and was accompanied with a Ding Defend plastic stiffener. It arrived safely. I consider this to be a decent value for the price based on its overall quality for the age of this manual. :)

This vendor did an extremely great job of packaging this item, including very carefully enclosing the "clapper" so that it wouldn't cause problems in shipping. The item was exactly as described and even though it was a smaller bell, the price could have been much higher.
