It is dyed and exposed on the back where it is glued to the wires. I asked family members if it looked real, just to see if I was being too picky, and was told that no one would be fooled by the stone. This was said by a child. Wirework is varied in color, itchy on the skin, and not as well done as the ad shows. The rainbow moonstone is of very low quality and barely glued in place.

Labradorite is fragile, & care was taken to ensure my jewelry was safe from bumps and moisture. Very well packaged, wrapped within a small plastic container. Although it took almost a month for delivery to US, it is worth the wait!! I am beyond pleased with this piece and very grateful. Necklace was protected by tissue paper inside a plastic envelope wrapped in bubble wrap inside a hard plastic container inside a padded envelope. Despite being shipped from India on August 6 th and going through customs, it arrived in less than 2 weeks on August 18! The necklace was as pictured and described featuring a polished, dragon bloodstone wrapped in copper wire in an intricate design. The necklace chain had delicate, rectangular links.
