Gamers can take control of pint-sized versions of 14 NASCAR superstars, such as Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., and then navigate a dozen courses set in locations as varied as the treacherous desert mountains and the bustling streets of an urban metropolis. Players can also choose from ten original characters, and all 24 drivers have the classic go-kart racing ability to wreak havoc on their competitors by dropping oil slicks, tossing dynamite, and even blasting off bottle rockets. Solo racers can build up their boost meter for speed bursts or draft behind a teammate and slingshot to victory, and up to four gamers can go head-to-head in multiplayer battles for racing supremacy.
