This connector comes with the open barrel crimp type pins. They work fine but are finicky when aligning the wire in the open barrel pin crimper. In case of a need to dissemble the connector a must have is the Deutsch Pin/Wedgelock Removal Tool. To keep the connector waterproof get some properly sized sealing plugs for vacant pin locations. This connector does not come with any.
