The tonearm needed a heavier counterweight to set the tracking force, but I had one from a failed tonearm. youtube had audiophiles blind test a $500,000 turntable, cartridge, and phono preamp against a $78 system and 40% thought the $78 was the $500,000.

Customs delayed shipping due to new funtime customs rules, but shipper was very prompt! Price is WAY less than what some others advertise this item for (but then they don't actually have them anyway lol). Great communication and I highly recommend this seller. If you're in the US just be prepared for some delays.

After installation I can already tell a significant sonic difference and it hasn’t even been “broken” in. The stylus was in well packaged , promptly shipped, and overall great value for the cost.
