It opens more than the reversible type pliers. Its heavy duty and feels really comfortable in the hands with the rubber grips. The tip surface is rough and large enough to avoid slippage . Iam very happy with this tool a must if working with axels or any type of work that requires dissembly where snap rings are used.

This gasket set only includes a rope seal but the later 235s use a rubber seal. I contacted the seller and told him it will not work for my block and he denied the return. His reasoning is that shipping messes up the packaging. I contacted Best Gasket and they said seller is the only outlet to fix. Now I get to spend another $50 or 60.
