Packaging was good but I do wish the item was in a waterproof bag (ziplock?) in the box. Sometimes packages get left out in the rain.

The poles were used as described and arrived a little dirty as seen in the original post photos, but the rest of the description was direct from REI and reflected basically new poles. Still it conveyed the basics and my priority was the antishock feature. They'll clean up fine and hopefully do their job for a long time. Thanks.
