Synopsis
From the hills of Coahuila, Mexico, to the plains of west Texas, this is the story of one family's struggle to survive and prosper in the face of the declining U.S. cattle industry. Laurie Lasater, a descendant of two of America's great pioneer ranching families, began his career in Mexico in 1964 where he introduced the Beefmaster breed of cattle, which was genetically developed by his family, to the Mexican market. In 1972 he moved to San Angelo, Texas, where he later founded the Isa Cattle Company. Over the course of the next twenty-five years, Laurie and his company introduced the Beefmaster breed to markets throughout South America and Africa. More than just the story of a cattleman, this biography is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit., From the hills of Coahuila, Mexico to the plains of west Texas, this is the story of one family's struggle to survive and prosper in the face of the declining U.S. cattle industry. - b***m (270)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoVest is as described, in great condition, and was at a good price. It was packaged well, but the shipping took a little longer than I'd hoped (I guess that's the USPS these days). Excellent eBay seller, thank you!
- 2***1 (174)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoGreat seller! Fast shipping and the item arrived exactly as described. Packaging was secure, ensuring everything arrived in perfect condition. Excellent value for the price, original J. Crew shirt looks like new at a fraction of the retail price. Highly recommend this seller for a smooth and reliable transaction. Would definitely buy from again. A+ experience!
- f***y (1132)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoExcellent seller. Too many book sellers just plop a book into a padded mailer and call it good. Not this seller! Book was sealed in plastic, wrapped in packing then placed in a sturdy box. Arrived perfectly. Book is better than described. Order was promptly shipped. A+ and highly recommend seller. Hope to buy from again.1972, 1st Ed., The Mad World of William M. Gaines, Frank Jacobs, DJ, Illus. (N° 257000991721)
