The seller responded promptly to my message regarding the matter, and I don't doubt for a moment that the item was despatched in the condition described. But I do think that the packaging used wasn't appropriately robust enough for transit! The seller offered a refund including return shipping costs but I try to avoid this due to personal circumstances, therefore I retained the CD.
