Plugged the tablet in and it worked straight away. Set up pen and shortcut remote and they worked fine in zbrush and photoshop. It is as described and getting the item effectively "brand new" but at a slightly lesser price is a win, plus it is heart warming to hear my purchase goes towards charity and is helping to make a better life for others.
