    The adapter is very useful, with one caveat: the end that goes into the vacuum is a bit too wide, so the fit is a bit too tight. As the plastic that this vacuum is made of is very brittle, forcing the attachment into the vacuum port may crack it. To avoid this I did some sanding of the vacuum-facing end to have an easier/safer fit. After that, the fit is perfect...
