As the purchased item is new it works well but as far as I have noted the life of these things is appalling. My past Padors remote have all broken down before the batteries died. If I was able to find another way to operate my Padors door I would. Certainly when my Padors door motor dies, I will not replace it with a Padors. The service of the supplier was excellent
