Having surrounds behind switch and socket plates saves time by not needing to refinish the hole (back box surround) if the plastered hole in the wall is a bit oversize and also helps stop the surrounding wall being marked by mucky fingers.

Packed damaged (scratched surface) and further damaged in transit due to poor packaging - a jiffy bag is not sufficient for sharp cornered and edged items such as this. Messaged seller who did not respond. The seller's standard response seems to be "Unfortunately, we have not received any messages from yourself" If the seller responds to this feedback saying such, it is not true! Returned for refund. No communications from seller (apology would have been nice). POOR SERVICE.
