This world-traveled talent serendipitously followed her charm right into the heart of the music industry, where heads turned and hands reached to help lift her to new heights of achievement. In only 2 years, Ashley has independently written and produced a 3-song EP "Unlocked" and a debut pop album "Aftershock" that leave lovely rock, electronic and folk vibes lingering in the ears of it's listeners. Ashley has already graced the stages of many well-known Los Angeles venues, including: The Whisky-a-Go-Go The Pig 'n Whistle The Cat Club M Bar The Talking Stick The Derby Crane's Tavern And will continues her performances on an even greater scale in 2010. Interestingly, Ashley's calling as a songwriter and musical artist was an unexpected earthquake - even for her. Although Ashley studied 10 years of classical piano as a child, engaged in vocal training and dance lessons, taught herself guitar and began writing songs as a teenager inspired by her favorite lyricist - Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers - she never considered a career path that involved music. After studying and traveling internationally, Ashley graduated from the University of Denver in 2007 with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue modeling and acting, only to rapidly realize that her talents as a songwriter and performer compelled hot pursuit for themselves. Ashley has a gift of connecting deeply with fans, and her fanbase is growing steadily. Her music expertly blends thoughtful lyrics, honest sentiments, and captivating melodies that resonate deeply with audiences time and after time. Most of all, the amazing network of talented and supportive people that Ashley has surrounded herself with has helped to foster Ashley's accelerated growth as an artist. Ashley is dedicated to raising awareness for causes through her music and donates a portion of her proceeds to help women, children and victims of abuse.
