The Linksys EtherFast (EZXS55W) external switch is designed to optimize network performance and may actually double networking performance. Small, medium, and SOHO (small office/home office) networks will benefit significantly from the power of the Linksys EtherFast (EZXS55W) 5-port external switch. This external router is most likely the best value for the networking dollar. Offering support for half and full duplex speeds, a workgroup can run at 10Mbps to a possible 200Mbps without bottlenecks or difficulties with bandwidth sharing. A migration strategy that includes a workgroup upgrade would do well to consider the Linksys EtherFast (EZXS55W) switch as a viable solution. Configuration is easy; the business owner can literally plug an Ethernet cable into the ports on the back of the router, connect the computers used in the business, and upgrade his or her network instantly.
