Synopsis
On November 19, 1943, the submarine USS "Sculpin," under attack by the Japanese, slid below the waves for the last time. Not only did several crew members survive the sinking, but they were aboard a Japanese aircraft carrier enroute to a POW camp when it was, in turn, torpedoed and sunk by the "Sculpin's" sister ship., The crew of the USS Sailfish couldn't have known that the Japanese aircraft carrier they'd just torpedoed actually had several crew members from their sister sub, sunk just days earlier. This is the extraordinary story of the events that led to this amazing twist of fate.

- i***w (69)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoI once met the author in a church service in southern Colorado and purchased a number of her books as a boy with very little "free money." Loved her writings and thank tranhound for offering this. Good price, shipping and packaging was great, no problems. It was as described. Didn't need seller communication so I didn't know what star to press but I have a feeling if I would have the star would have been a five!
- y***c (265)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoI got so great a deal on shipping, I’m not sure I can share it, but it was fantastic and of high value! The package also was fantastic and the item was as described if not better than so. I enjoy our interaction and plan to buy from this seller again—not expecting the same kind of shipping all the time.
- t***_ (25)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoFast shipping, the item was as described. I finally own a signed Robbins copy! The book was wrapped in a protective paper and cardboard for shipping, which every seller should do. Would do business again for sure. Thank you.
