Packaging was done with bubble wrap and paper all around the cooler. Small items like screws were also packaged well in small boxes to prevent them from being lost in the process of shipping. Description matches it exactly. I would have believed it was new and not refurbished - excellent. Value was perfect with it being around the price of new but with a small discount.
