Best known from his gag TV appearances in which he gets (bloodlessly) squashed, pummelled and blasted like a Warner Brothers cartoon character, gravel-voiced daredevil Super Dave Osborne here tries to carry an entire comedy feature on hisaccident-prone shoulders. A greedy pay-per-view tycoon sends a winsome female temptress, shuts down Super Dave's already-chintzy Vegas amusement park, and even grooms a young punk in imitation of Super Dave, all to force the famous stuntman, supposedly retired, into performing yet another ludicrous feat for thecameras. This skipped being released by MGM in theaters late in 1999, and no wonder; the thin premise and slapsticky jokes work best on the small screen. In terms of PG-rated dumb humor for kids, Super Dave could make a suitable companion to the late Jim "Ernest P. Worrell" Varney and his many direct-to-video features.

Really lucky it didn't get cracked, my postman likes to shove envelope type packages in my mailbox even when they don't fit. But, the item did arrive in mint condition, exactly as described, and with the slipcover too! Price was fantastic for an out of print disc. Since it arrived in mint condition, I'm a happy customer. I contacted coursefan and asked questions about the 4K item. Replied to all of my questions and worked out a better price. I asked if it could be shipped really carefully and coursefan said that it would be shipped carefully and it was. The 4K item was in PERFECT condition like I was told.
