I had one, a Cuisinart kettle that was just like this one in every way, but without the window that lasted 20 years with almost daily use. Perfect size, not too tall, not too big, good capacity. Plus I love the style. Wish Cuisinart would start producing these again because when this one goes, I don't know if I will be able to get another. The vendor was also excellent. Answered my questions promptly.

My old one was showing the years of wear and tear and I decided to replace it. Unfortunately, this design was no longer available from Cuisinart. All of the new models look like coffee makers. So, I looked to Ebay. They claim to be " refurbished" but the one I received looks to be brand new, in the Cuisinart box, with instruction manual, original packing and packaging. I couldn't be more pleased.
