Although some may prefer its 28mm brother, I think that the 24mm lens has a good performance and deserves merit. It is reasonably modern and has excellent manual and very good auto focusing abilities, as well as being quiet in operation. The image quality is good, with some minor distortion due to the lower forcal distance, but the lens is compact enough to be a good everyday pick and stabilization is reliable.
