The IND division was unknown and the IRT was getting the most service underground compared to the Elevated lines of the Ninth, Sixth, Third & Second Avenue lines. For the working classes the nickel ride took them to work and the beaches of Coney Island on the weekend. Quick secure delivery of the map of transport in NYC.
