The Boss OS-2 is a guitar effect pedal capable of producing overdrive and distortion sounds, giving you a choice of both hard distortion sounds and smooth overdrive tones for rhythm playing. You can even integrate the overdrive and distortion effects, which gives you more options than serially connected units. The Asymmetrical Overdrive Circuit incorporated in the Boss OS-2 unit gives you sound similar to a large scale tube amp.
