Synopsis
As featured on Boing Boing and Jewcy Just in time for Passover, this bite-sized bestiary is the definitive - nay, the only - A to Z guide to the kosherness of imaginary animals. The Kosher Guide is a whimsically illustrated, wild, undomesticated romp that features E.T., hobbits, Mongolian Death Worms, and even the elusive chupacabra! Once and for all, our experts will definitively describe burning questions passed down through the ages, such as: Is a vegetable-lamb a vegetable or a lamb? Does licking the Pope make you trayf? What exactly is a pollo maligno? Is Sasquatch kashrut and does it taste stringy? The Kosher Guide resolves (mostly) an ongoing, contentious debate (oy vey) between Evil Monkey - the alter-ego of bestselling fantasist Jeff VanderMeer (Annihilation) - and acclaimed editor (and co-conspirator) Ann VanderMeer (Steampunk), the creative team that produced The Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredited Diseases. What exactly is a pollo maligno? Is Sasquatch kashrut and does it taste stringy? The Kosher Guide resolves (mostly) an ongoing, contentious debate ( oy vey ) between Evil Monkey--the alter-ego of bestselling fantasist Jeff VanderMeer ( Annihilation )--and acclaimed editor (and co-conspirator) Ann VanderMeer ( Steampunk ), the creative team that produced The Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredited Diseases . Now you can broaden your imaginary culinary experiences guilt-free-- mazel tov !, A perfect gift book, this sumptuously illustrated and whimsically bite-sized bestiary is the definitive--in fact, only--guide to the kosherness (kashrut) of imaginary animals. It is an undomesticated romp from A to Z, including E.T., hobbits, Mongolian Death Worms, and the elusive chupacabra. This fantastical journey embarks upon a hilariously contentious debate between the alter-ego of acclaimed fantasist Jeff VanderMeer (a.k.a. Evil Monkey) and his editor/collaborator wife Ann VanderMeer ( Steampunk , The New Weird ). Once and for all, burning questions passed down through the ages will be addressed, such as: Is a vegetable-lamb a vegetable or a lamb? Does licking the Pope make you trayf? What exactly is a Pollo Maligno? Does a Sasquatch taste stringy? As featured on Boing Boing and Jewcy.com and brought to you by the same creative team that gave you The Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredited Diseases , this irreverent abecedary is the must-have present for anyone seeking to broaden their imaginary culinary experiences guilt-free.

- m***r (1488)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoThere was a tear in the spine that was not pictured, but for the price agreed upon I think this is negligible; however, seller would not combine shipping costs with two much less expensive items that were ordered on the same day, although they all shipped together; I asked about it both before the items shipped and after they arrived, and the seller gave no reply in either case, even to say, "sorry, I don't combine shipping"
- e***a (1430)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoItem arrived today, as described. Excellent condition, just as per the listing. This book completes my Wild Cards series and was at a very good price (I've seen this book for sale online at three figure sums). For a 30 year old paperbook the appearance was superb. Very well packaged, which is important as it came from the US. Would recommend this seller to International buyers. Thank you.
- o***o (3300)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoAlbums as described! Many collectors aren't aware that this was actually how the album was issued in early 1976, with one being Apple, the other being orange Capitol. VERY hard to find! Seller does not price-gouge on shipping, either! Charges actual post office shipping rates, which is very conscientious. One minor thing to collectors, seller ships records inside the covers instead of behind them, which more often than not, splits one or more seams during transit. Otherwise, highly recommended!
