Baa Baa Black Sheep: Vol. 2 continues the television drama that tells the story of the Black Sheep Squadron of World War II. This 3-disc set contains the final episodes of the first season that originally aired in 1976. In Baa Baa Black Sheep: Vol. 2, the air fighting squadron known as the Black Sheep continue to patrol the South Pacific under leader Pappy Boyington. Officially known as VMF-214, the aviation group is dubbed the Black Sheep because they are a band of misfits, but when the going gets tough, there is no better group of fighters. Known as the “Terrors of the South Pacific”, the fighting squadron is always ready when duty calls. Loosely based around the real wartime adventures of Greg “Pappy” Boyington, this drama is noted for its realistic portrayal of war as well as its air combat scenes.
