Product Information

Backbone Entertainment brings its 2006 PSP title back to life in this Wii version of the comically ghoulish Death Jr.: Root of Evil. As in its earlier handheld iteration, Root of Evil for the Wii lets players take control of Death Jr., or his schoolyard sweetheart Pandora, as they embark on nearly 20 levels of classic comedic platform gaming. Players must help the deathly duo dispatch 45 different kinds of enemy and attempt to rescue DJ's dad all while completing their school science project on time. Gamers can wield DJ's scythe or Pandora's whip to unleash devastating combo attacks using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, or they can dole out destruction with unusual weapons like flaming toilet paper and C4 hamsters. Death Jr.: Root of Evil has been cleaned up a bit, featuring five times as many polygons as the PSP version, and the more polished level design lets two players try out the game in local split-screen co-op action.
