I needed a linear PSU for the display unit of my amateur radio, and whilst this unit is very well built, I do have a reservation regarding its rating. The current consumption of my IC-7760's display unit is 630mA, but the heat sink temperature at this current is 80C, way too high. A bit of 'reverse engineering' showed that at 240VAC I/P the regulator IC is dissipating 4W. I would hate to think what the temperature would be at the units maximum rating of 1.5A.
- 6***6 (33)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimo annoAcquisto verificatoi ordered the 12 vdc version, and nicely constructed. i like the flexibility of having multiple choices to order different voltages. coming from China, took just about 2 weeks, i think that is pretty good considering. the price is very reasonable. i would like to have more options to be able to order output cables with connector tips, ie, 5.5mm, 1.5mm, etc... so to be used on different equipment, my DAC uses a different size tip than my headphone amp and or the turntable motor supply.
