In this case, I bought an older but upgraded mini pc and needed to connect to a 1080p monitor with the highest resolution possible. This cable exceeded my expectations. My display is exceptional!

I used to have a VGA to USB dongle for it but that started giving me issues with newer graphics card drivers making all my monitors go black and making me have to use restore points and roll back drivers. However, this cable works great!

Also, one of the screws came out of the VGA connector. This also didn't do what I thought it would, what I expected it to, from the description - I wanted it to allow my VGA monitor to work with a PC's DisplayPort - it did not. Upon further research (when it wasn't working), this can't really be done, without an *adapter* being involved, just having those connectors on either end of a cable won't do it. Will be returning.
