    The item was packed well & exactly as described. It arrived much quicker than the estimate, which was nice. Used control pods go for $80+ in decent condition, so getting this for $50 was great. It looks solid and well made. It works really well & sounds fantastic but you do have to enable the bass management feature in Windows sound properties for the audio output device for it to work properly. Otherwise, it doesn't properly separate the low frequencies to send to the sub. So glad I found this!

    5/5 Stars - Saved My 15-Year-Old Speakers! I thought I'd have to replace my trusty Logitech Z-5500 speakers after the control unit finally gave up after 15+ years. But this replacement unit was a lifesaver! Plug-and-play setup was seamless, and the sound quality is still top-notch. The new control unit fits perfectly, and I'm impressed by the build quality. It's amazing that it's still compatible with my old speakers.

    The product worked as intended, but needed some adjustments to make it work properly; however, you can feel that the bass is not routing properly for the subwoofer. Good solution if your POD of the Z5500 is damaged beyond repair, but be aware that the audio will not be equal to the POD but this gets the job done. Good communication and fast shipping!
