An internet poll winner as one of the most requested Blue Note LPs for reissue, Stick-Up! Stands out as one of Hutcherson's hardest-swinging albums, due in no small part to Billy Higgins on drums. This 1966 recording (featuring 5 originals and 1 Ornette Coleman track) is also the 1st recorded meeting of the vibist and pianist McCoy Tyner; the great Joe Henderson is also a featured soloist. Part of Blue Note's limited edition Connoisseur CD series, this release features digital remastering and rare photos.
