The Nikon FE SLR is a film camera that brings out your creativity. It features indestructible components. Because it accepts every Nikon lens ever made, the Nikon body is adaptable. It has a battery powered shutter combined with lots of elegantly designed mechanical features. This Nikon is a film camera with the manual components that make photography an art, along with enough electronics to make it failsafe. Any aficionado of film cameras knows this popular Nikon model bridges the mechanical and electronic and motor based era of lens photography. The film SLRs of history suffer shortcomings the Nikon FE solves with an electronic shutter. FE cameras can auto determine the speed for your lens in a flash. Or, customize your photo by playing with the aperture setting, the shutter speed, or both. They can also snap the shutter open and shut within 1/4000 of a second. You will not find this capacity on many other cameras of this or any era.
