The 1st one was bad but had to bring it into a bike shop and they thought it was a controller because the battery showed 48 volts. Then they tried a new battery and it worked just fine. Plus the seller WOULD NOT refund me because it was past the 30 days. Now I'm out $200 and bike shop expenses. I ordered a second one in good faith and it came bad AS WELL.
