This permits you to comfortably capture a whole range of shots from wide-angle shots to closeups, to mid-range shots, to panoramic views, or even long distance zoom angles. You also get an impressively shallow depth-of-field, which makes your subject stand out against their backgrounds. This lens is also remarkably compact and lightweight due to its retractable barrel mechanism. Hence, in spite of being designed with a super-telephoto zoom range, the lens is still easily portable and user-friendly. Another brilliant feature of the Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-300 mm f/3.5-6.3 G ED VR Lens is its in-built vibration reduction (VR) image stabilizer, which efficiently decreases the shaky effects of handheld camera positions.
