In the end I used a smaller light hammer to keep the joints together as they would not stay on. Which should have been a ten minute job it took over an hour I was glad when it was done.

Have used in my garden shed for storing my plant food, weed killer etc so I have put a plastic sheet on the shelves in case of spills. May look at covering them is something permanent later.
