With a minimum height of 4.7 inches and a maximum operational height of 5.9 inches, this mini Nikon Tripod is best suited for low-angle or ground level photo shoots. The rubber tips on the legs of the Nikon ALM-22042 ensure minimal slippage when used on slick surfaces such as counters and tabletops. The Nikon Tripod is constructed of a lightweight aluminum alloy and weighs just 0.25 lbs. It is able to support equipment loads of up to 1.7 lbs, which makes this mini Nikon Tripod best suited to compact digital cameras and camcorders. A ball-type tripod head allows the operator to pan the camera a full 360 degrees. This tripod is fitting for the beginner photographer that does not want to carry something heavy and has a small camera to fit it.
