However, although the items measurements are identical in most ways to what it was intended to replace, the holes have been drilled in different a position on the plate. This meant that although the hole centres are correct, having them drilled in higher positions on the plate meant I couldn't line up the holes with the existing drill holes in the jamb. Also, there is no recess lip that my old one had that fits snuggly inside the jamb recess. Poor quality item
