The radio fits the car similar to the stock one and has much more features than offered in my 2003 530i. I hope it lasts because this is the first off brand aftermarket radio I have ever purchased. Only time will tell on this. Also easy to install as long as you go in YouTube and look up the installation. More spare back there with the new radio since no cd player anymore.

Some confusion on our part but figured things out. We used different support brackets ordered from Germany instead of the bent metal ones that come with these. Hope to buy one more soon for our second e39 and only from this seller on ebay.
